The Annual cricket match for year 2021 was played between members of Rockford Solar India Private Limited and Hodson Energy . The cricket match was played on 11th Nov 2021 at beautiful Mahajan Cricket ground chandigarh.
The teams were captained by our foreign colleague Sukhin Bhandari and Kevin Mahoney. There were two matches played. Each matches were of 15 Overs each.
First match Sukhin Team won the toss and elected to bat first. They score 151 in their quota of 15 overs. Top run getter for Sukhin team was Azad Khan (Sonu) and Piyush. Chasing the target Kevin team lost 2 quick wickets, but Kevin steady the ship and played a captains knock along with Ankit to seal a comfortable victory for his team.
The story of the second match was same but due to bad lights match was stopped after the 7th over, and Team Kevin won the match on DL method.
The man of the match and man of the series was awarded to Kevin for his all round performance. Anikt and Azad Khan ( Sonu) was adjusted Best batsman and best Bowler respectively.
Rahul Singh Gill, Khushwant Singh Gill, Kaitlin Savage and Shyam Sundar was electric in the field.
Event was well managed and organised by Anjali, Shyam, Javed, Ankit, Piyush, Sunil, Anil and all colleagues of Rockford Solar and Hodson Energy..
