A confident South Africa (SA) side will look to register a hat-trick of wins in the ODI World Cup 2023 as they face a dogged Netherlands (NED) team at the scenic Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala on Tuesday, October 17. The Proteas began their campaign with a phenomenal batting performance against Sri Lanka, registering the highest team total in the history of the tournament. The Netherlands showed promise during their 81-run defeat to Pakistan. The Dutch side pushed the Asian giants at various stages during the match but couldn’t hold their nerves during their chase of 287 runs. In their second game, Scott Edwards and Co. were blown away by the Kiwis, who were fresh off a thumping win against defending champions England. The Netherlands conceded 322 runs before being bundled out for 223. South Africa are the overwhelming favourites in this encounter, but they will do well not to take the Netherlands lightly.
