The toss was won by Khodabhai Jograna captain og Saurashtra (SDCA) and he opted to bat first. Same pitch was used on which opening match was played. The match was won by Jharkhand.

I have studied in one of the best schools in India (La, Martiniere College, Lucknow). I started playing cricket when I was in class 4. I still hold the school record of 5 wickets in 6 balls and I am sure if we had DRS then it would be 6 in 6 balls. I bowled at 130 kmph at the age of 16 so I was nicknamed "Dangerous Khan". I have also played cricket at the district level.
