Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar made his test playing debut at the tender age of 16 in november 1989. He was the third youngest debutant after Mushtaq Mohammad and Aaqib javed.
He was first selected in test match against Pakistan tournament. Sachin faced the bowling attack of Imran Khan, Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis.
Sachin scored 15 runs in his first test cricket match against Pakistan in Karachi.
