Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar stepped in India One day International squad in the year 1989, when he played against Pakistan. Same year he was selected in Indian test team which toured to Pakistan. Sachin was 16 when he was launched by Raj Singh Dungarpurin into international arena.
Sachin could not score a single run in his first match against Pakistan, but he showed the world that he can bat when he hit world best leg spinner Abdul Qadir for 27 runs in one over in an exhibition match before his first official One day international match
