Sachin and Dhyan Chand
Sports minister Ajay Maken reported that two sportsperson Sachin Tendulkar and hockey player Major Dhyan Chand are top contender for Bharat Ratna award. He also added that it will be the great day when this awards given to sportsman. Sachin tendulkar has been playing cricket for 22 years. He has broken most of the records during his 22 years career. The Indian Government has modified the rule to give the Bharat Ratna award for sportsperson as well.
