Highlights of day 1
In the 3rd and final test match between Australia and Sri Lanka Australia made 235 at the loss of 5 wickets in 81.2 overs day 1 stumps. After winning the toss Sri Lanka decided to field first. Australia lost the five wickets at 120 runs on the board when skipper Michael Clarke departs at 6. Once again Michael Hussey took the charge to fight back in the game. Hussey made unbeaten 63 while Shuan Marsh who also played a fine knock made 81 valuable runs for his team. Ricky Ponting also played a fine innings but he missed his half century. At the close of Day 1 Michael Hussey 63 and Brad Haddin 21 are on the crease.
