Pinnaduwage Aravinda de Silva (born on October 17, 1965 in Colombo) is a former Sri Lankan cricketer who made his debut in 1984 at Lord’s. He is regarded as one of the most elegant batsman in his time and is the only player to make a hundred and take 3 or more wickets in a world cup final. He scored his first century against New Zealand in 1991 with 123 runs. His highest test score is 267 against New Zealand in January 1991 at Wellington. He played his last test match against Bangladesh in 2002. By the end of his career, he had scored 6,361 test runs with 20 centuries against seven countries and 22 fifties. He has scored 200 on two occasions.
