Its strange to know that Sachin Tendulkar has a bad record on a ground where a sport called cricket is played and if that happens to be mecca of cricket i.e. Lord’s,it makes it all the more compelling.Four tests and not even a half century leave alone a ton,that too from someone who has imperious records at almost all the grounds of the world is a disturbing thought for someone of the stature of the great man.He is already 38 and its unlikely that he will be getting another chance to improve his record at Lord’s.He was looking in his elements in the first innings but was done in by Broad.That and the fact that he needs just another century to reach an extraordinary milestone of hundred hundreds in international cricket would be playing in his mind.Add to it that India needs to bat out whole day tommorrow to save this test match and we have a recipe for an intriguing day’s play.
