Pune Warriors failed to score a big target, but however sored-118/10 in 17.2 over’s. PWI worst part was dismissal of top batting line up Yuvraj and Ryder at zero and 12 runs respectively. Thanks to Robin Uthappa who scored 45 runs and saved the dignity of PWI somewhat.
In spite of fine bowling by PWI they could not defended their target of 119 runs to win before MI, but thrill remains till last ball, it was 1 run from 1 ball, but Rohit Sharma hitting 6 led victory over PWI by 7 wickets. Both teams top batting orders failed miserably and actual match fought by bowlers of the teams. PWI -118/10 in 17.2 overs and MI-124/3 in 20 overs. Munaf Patel did fine bowling 3-8 in 2.2 overs and declared ‘Man of the Match’ .
