India have won the only T20 match against Sri Lanka by 39 runs played at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium. After winning the toss Sri Lankan skipper decided to field first. India scored 155 for 3 (Kohli 68, Raina 34*, Eranga 2-30) in 20 overs. In reply Sri Lanka made only 116 all-out (Mathews 31, Dinda 4-19, Irfan 3-27) in 18 overs and they lost the game by a big margin of 39 runs. IK Pathan (India) was named for player of the match while V Kohli (India) named for player of the series.
