Sri Lanka scored in 1st innings 300/2 (Sangakkara 111*, Dilshan 101, M Jayawardene 55*) at the close of Day 1 in the 1st Test played at Galle International Stadium. Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first on the good batting surface. Tillakaratne Dilshan made his 13th century in Tests and second against Pakistan whlie Sangakkara century made 29th Tests hundred and eighth against Pakistan.Saeed Ajmal took 2 for 81 in 24 overs.
