Zaheer Khan (born on October 7, 1978 in Shrirampur, Maharashtra), is an Indian cricketer also known as “Zak”. He has taken 271 ODI wickets at an average of 28.83 and is a left arm fast bowler considered as the best of the Indian fast bowling attack. He made his ODI debut against Kenya during the ICC Knockout Trophy on 3rd October, 2000. Zaheer swings the new ball and reverses the old one; he does well on flat subcontinent pitches. Zak was the frontline seamer of Indian bowling attack during the 2011 World Cup and was the leading wicket-taker in the tournament.
