The focus of the match was Misbahul Haq dismissal in the last over when Pakistan need only 4 runs from 3 balls at the crucial stage. Joginder Singh picked up Misbah ul Haq to finish the game. I K Pathan (India) decided Player of the Match while Shahid Afridi (Pakistan) declared played of the tournament.
