Pinnaduwage Aravinda de Silva (born on October 17, 1965 in Colombo) is a former Sri Lankan cricketer who made his debut in 1984 at Moratuwa. He is also known as “Mad Max” for his tendency to get out to rash shots. He scored his first century against India in 1990 with 104 runs. His highest One Day International score is 145 against Kenya in March 1996 at Kandy. He played his last ODI cricket match against Australia in 2003. By the end of his career, he had scored 9,284 ODI runs with 11 centuries against five countries namely Australia, India, Pakistan, Kenya, Zimbabwe, and 64 fifties.
