Highlights of the match
Sri Lanka beat England by 6 wickets with 10 balls remaining in the 3rd ODI at Lords on Sunday. England captain Alastair Cook won the toss and decided to bat first. Despite of Cook’s century England could not set big target for Srilanka. Sri Lanka’s 21-year-old Dinesh Chandimal played innings for Sri Lanka completed his maiden century of his career at Lord’s. In form Sri Lankan middle order batsman Jayawardene also shines with his bat. Chandimal and Jayawardene innings helped Sri Lanka to register an easy win at Lord’s. Batting first England put only 247 runs on the board but it was not enough. Sri Lanka achieves the target from 48.2 overs for the loss of four wickets. Chandimal declared man of the match for his brilliant knock.
