Edwards get rid of Dhoni on a NO ball
As the news came out that wrong replay was shown when Ian Gould asked the third umpire to check whether it was a no ball or not my mind was forced to think that irrespective of what technology is used one just can out rule out mistakes arising out of human error from the game completely. Because in the end all those hi-tech equipment and devises has to be manned by a mortal in this case the operator who selected a wrong delievery for the review which turned out to be a legitimate one while had he chosen the actual one, which was a no ball, Dhoni would have been not out.
So it seems that irrespective of advancements in technology the game would always be susceptible to errors in judgement invoking oohs and aahs from the audience, which is not really a bad thing.Isn’t it?
