Pakistan are considering Zimbabwe as one of several options to host the home series against Sri Lanka later this year.
Pakistan has been a virtual no-go zone for international team since March 2009, when militants attacked the Sri Lankan team. Pakistan cricket is going through a bad patch. They cannot host any home series, no international team wants to play in Pakistan. Pakistanis venue was even strike off from list of world cup 2011.
Pakistan government is very much to be blamed for this hiccup, as they could not stop assault on the Sri lankan team in march 2009.
Zimbabwe is considered by Pakistan to host the home series because it has the infrastructure and is available as Zimbabwe is not playing any series compared to other test playing nations.
