Ashish Nehra made a superb attempt to take a difficult catch. Shahid Afridi had hit the bowl high towards the boundary and ran came in running to take the catch. However, closeup replays showed that the ball had just touched the ground before Nehra got hold of it. Fortunately, Afridi was dismissed soon after and India Won the Semi Final.
Unfortunately, the attempt caused multiple fractures in Nehra’s fingers. He has been ruled out of the Final Match against Sri Lanka to be played on Saturday in Mumbai.
